White Tiger Mountain Style is a complete reworking of the traditional Taegwondo system created by General Choi. The goal was to revitalize the old methods, bringing back training and technique that has been lost, changing language and to create a system that makes sense to students and teachers alike.
It has new forms that follow similar logic to the Chon-Ji forms but are not tied as closely to Korean history and politics. It also has a standardization of of terms, technique list for up to black belt, logic patterns for creating new techniques so that there is no end to the system and requirements for each level that can be flexible while still requiring advancement of skill.
Also, this style has recommended training drills and testing methods to help teachers.
